Put on the sunscreen and make your way to the paddock to listen to Cincinnati’s premiere beach party group – The Sunburners!  They’ll be providing their unique sound from 3:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., leaving you plenty of time stroll to the concert venue next door. Pass on the hot blacktop in the parking lot and cool off at River Downs Tiki Bar where there are beer specials on 12 oz bottles of select brands.

Save the hassle of bringing out and breaking down your grill from home, let River Downs serve up your “Cheeseburger from Paradise” and plenty more great eats. Make our paddock your day at the beach “Where the Surf Meets the Turf,” as live thoroughbred race action takes place starting at 1:30 p.m.

There may be some great hunch bets crossing the finish line first on Thursday.  Horses going to post include – Deb’s Gone Wild, Tee Tee’s Tapit, Leather Laces, Hesmytemptation, It Wasn’t Me, Easy Baby, Wiggleinherwalk and All Jacked Up!  You’ve got to be here…or is that “You’ve got to bet here?”  Either way get your Fins swimming left and right to the Buffet Bash at the Tiki Bar located next to the paddock.
