The Best of Ohio has come and gone... BUT, if you subscribe to RD updates and checked your email or the RD website on Friday, you found that we had the pick 4 and missed the pick 5 - by one horse! If you took the handicappers picks and boxed them in each race you cashed three exactas and two trifectas over the five Best of Ohio races. Formful races make for good handicapping.
Congrats to local horsemen in the Endurance - trainer Doug Cowans won with That a Heckofacat and trainer Ivan Vazquez finished 2nd in the $75,000 race with the legendary Catlaunch.
Back to Beulah for our Monday pick
River Downs trainer Doug Danner ships in for the 4th race there and hopes to break the maiden of #4 Tiban. This 4-year-old Flatter gelding just missed in his debut here as the odds-on favorite. He then started twice against tough company on a synthetic track. He returns to dirt in here and will add blinkers for the first time.
